About Us
A lifelong Baltimore resident, I’ve supported the local business community for over 30 years. After graduating from Towson University, I began my career as a maintenance mechanic with Southern Management Corporation and rose to manage hundreds of homes before launching my own company.
For the past 28 years, I’ve owned Better Home Remodeling, helping clients build, repair, and maintain their homes. That experience inspired me to start Better Home Check, offering reliable home watch services throughout Maryland—including the coast, Annapolis, and the Baltimore Metro area. As a licensed and insured contractor and former real estate agent, I bring deep industry expertise and a strong commitment to service. What is a Home Watch Service?
A visual inspection of property of a residence looking for obvious issues. Completing a customer approved checklist of inspection tasks to report to the property owner or manager at a predetermined schedule.
Who needs a Home Watch Service?
- Homeowners in our service area who spend time at a second home, leaving their primary residence or property vacant for extended periods of time.
- Homeowners called away from their homes for extended periods of time due to emergency.
- Property that is vacant due to being on the market while for sale or under construction.
- Seniors still in the one but can’t keep up with property inspections or a family member residing out of the area who need someone to check on their family’s home.
- Property Management, Real Estate, or an Investor who needs visual inspection of a property while under their control.

How often do I need my home visited?
Better Home Check recommends a weekly home inspection. However, a customized schedule can be created.
